Dibrugarh University is a university in the Indian state of Assam. It was set up in 1965 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university.

Number of Student : 25 (Twenty five)

Eligibility Criteria

a) A Bachalor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern form a recognized University securing a minimum of 45% Marks in Major or in Aggregate (40% for candidates from Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes).
Candidates whose results for the qualifying examinations are not yet declared may also apply, provided that she/he is confident of fulfilling all the criteria for admission and is able to submit the original mark-sheets before the admission process is completed.
(b) Preference shall be given to candidates from North Eastern States.

Application and Admission Procedure :

Selection of Candidate for admission will be made through a one and half hour written (50 Marks) followed by Group Discussion (20 Marks) and Personal Interview (30 Marks). Only qualified candidates secruing minimum 45% marks in Written Test will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview
