It was planned to have seven rounds of counseling for B Tech (Bachelor of Technology) Common Counseling 2016 of Manipal University, including one intra-institute sliding and one spot round.

The first round, intra-institute sliding and spot round is physical rounds whereas rest of the rounds is online counseling. Depending on the vacancy, an additional round of counseling could be conducted.
