Is Manav Rachna University Good For Engineering

Please provide ranking of Engineering Universities of India according to Times of India. I am thinking for B.Tech from Manav Rachna University. So I want to know that this University is good for Engineering or not? Is there any Entrance Exam conducted by Manav Rachna University?

I would like to know if I can join Manav Rachna University and is it a good University or not for engineering?

THE opening up of deemed university status to standalone engineering and management colleges has provided some institutes such as Manav Rachna International University to drastically increase capacity in the last two to three years.

MANAV Ratna was an self-governing college under MD Univeristy Rothak, before it gained Deemed University status in 2009. The Institute of Engineering & Technology currently offers B Tech and M Tech courses and also plans to start Doctoral courses.

The institute houses 6 computer labs and a central library, which subscribes to numerous national and international journals, periodicals and newspapers. Under the INDEST association of AICTE, it also subscribes to 219 IEEE and 21 ASME online journals. The digital library offers access to an exhaustive collection of electronic database, which in turn offers information encompassing all study areas. It is also endorsed by TCS Corporation for placements.

The University has recently signed a MoU with the IBM group as well as EMC Corporation, USA. The Training & Placement Cell works in the direction of helping students to spruce up skills and also in campus placements. It also provides grooming, English language skills and mock interview training.

MRIU offers three hostels each for boys and girls, with single, double and triple seat rooms. Regular transport services are also available between the hostels and campus.
