Manav Bharati University is affiliated to UGC,AICTE,DEC,BCI,PCI,State Government of H.P.

Research programs leading to a Doctor of Philosophy degree in various subjects are also offered by the University.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed a Master’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the Ph.D course.

Applicants should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination. Relaxation of 5% is allowed for Applicants belonging to the reservation category.

Applicants who have completed a Master of Philosophy course in a related discipline are also eligible to apply for the Ph. D programme.

Admission procedure
Applicants are required to obtain the application form from the specified centers.

A DD is required to be drawn in favour of Manav Bharati University payable at Solan (H.P.) as application fee.

Duly filled in application forms should be submitted before the due date.

Applicants are required to qualify for the Ph.D entrance examination taken by the Manav Bharati University to gain admission to the research programme opted by the applicants .

Applicants who have qualified for the competitive examinations like UGC-NET/JRF/SET/GATE/GPAT are also eligible for direct admissions.

Shortlisted Applicants are required to attend an interview taken by the University. The interview is intended to evaluate the Applicant’s area of interest for undertaking research.

The final selection will be based on the Applicant’s performance in the interview.
