Florida Teacher Program of Management Resources College provides an intensive and fast paced learning of English for Speakers of Other Languages in conjunction with the preparation for Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE).

Admission Requirement:
-Meet the general admission requirements of the College.
-A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
-Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree from a foreign country where English is not the native language must take the Interchange Assessment, including a reading and listening section, verbal interview, and essay. The student will be placed in the level of ESOL or in which the applicant’s score indicates (See Foreign Educated Applicants and Degree Evaluation for requirements regarding applicants with foreign credentials).

The overall placement scores:
1-2.9 ESOL 1
3-3.9 ESOL 2
4-4.9 ESOL 3
5-5.9 ESOL 4
6-6.9 ESOL 5
7-7.9 ESOL 6
8+ Test out of ESOL
-Applicants who have previously passed sections of the FTCE certification exam and wish to not take the corresponding courses may present passing results of the FTCE Certification
