Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute is offering Master of Social Work Programme since 2010, which is two years full time course. It is English medium course affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission as per Gujarat University Norms are:
One should have a Bachelors degree or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 year) in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.
The admission process will be based on Merit.
Reservation policy will be applied as per the Gujarat University Norms.
One appeared at Graduate level Final Exam may also apply for the admission but the candidatures would be considered after the declaration of result, on merit and if seats available

The total number of students to be admitted to the Course shall be 35
With the approval of Higher authority of University the seats /additional class may be increased if need arises
The course will be conducted on regular basis.

Award of Degree
The Degree Certificate and Mark sheet will be given by the Gujarat University

Duration
The total duration of the course shall be of two years, spread over in four semesters.

Timings
Classes will be held in the Institute at such times during 11.00 to 17.00 p.m. hours on weekdays (excluding public holidays) as the course coordinator may determine.

75% Percentage of attendance in class is compulsory (as per University Norms)
