The Maharashtra SET (State Eligibility Test) Exam is conducted by University Grants Commission. SET is held in twice in a year i.e. in the month June and December.

Eligibility for SET Exam:
Candidates must have Master's Degree or P.G. Diploma from an recognized University with at least 55% marks (For SC/ST/PH/VH 50% marks)

Candidates who are appearing in the Masters degree (final year) examination can also apply for this exam

Age Limit:
There is no upper age limit.

Maharashtra SET Exam Tentative Dates
Opening date for online registration: 11 December 2012

Closing date for online registration: 31 December 2012 till 6 pm

Closing date for submitting hardcopy of Online application: 8 January 2013 till 6 pm

Date for dispatch of Admit Cards (tentative): 7 February 2013

Date of Maharashtra SET exam: 17 February 2013

Maharashtra SET 2014 application form is available only on University website

The exam is taken in every Indian state under the guidance of University Grants Commission.

SET is held in twice in a year i.e. in the month June and another in December.

Maharashtra SET Online Form Submission Starts : September, 2015
Last Date of Maharashtra SET 2015 Online Submission: September, 2015
Last Date of Maharashtra SET 2015 Hard Copy Submission : October, 2015
