There was a news in The Hindu newspaper regarding the appointments to the various faculty posts in the University of Madras. Can you give me the source from where I can read more about this news. There is a rumor that all those appointments got cancelled.

The University of Madras is a public state university in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the oldest and premier universities in India.

The university was incorporated by an act of the Legislative Council of India.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has conferred 'five star' accreditation to the university and it has been given the status of 'University with Potential for Excellence' by the University Grants Commission.
