Drug Inspector is a career option for candidates who have completed their Bachelors degree in Pharmacy. To become Drugs Inspector you have to crack written test, viva voce and physical fitness.


MP Drug Inspector Post details:

Age Limit:
1. Unreserved Candidates age should be between 18 yrs to 40 yrs.
2. Ex-servicemen candidate’s age should be below 43 yrs and below 45 yrs for all category candidates.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceuticals science/clinical pharmacy /pharmacology or microbiology specialization along with Bachelor's degree in medical science.

Application Fee:
1. General and OBC candidates need to deposit Rs. 500/-.
2. SC/ST Candidates need to deposit Rs.250/-.

Selection process:
Selections will be done on the basis of written exam.

Pay Scale:
Rs. 9,300-34,800/- + Grade pay Rs. 3600/-.

Procedure to Apply:
Candidates are required to fill online application form for applying that post. Candidates need to visit Official website for online registration.

Currently as on 14th December 2015, there are no examination details available for the post of Drug Inspector for Madhya Pradesh state.

The Drug Inspector Exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year for all the eligible candidates in the post of Drug Inspector under the central government organizations.

Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-
The aspirants must possess a Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from an University established in India by Law.

Age:
Aspirants must be aged between 18 and 40 years of age are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation:

• Ex-servicemen: 43 years
•SC/ST candidates: 45 years

Selection procedure:
Procedure of selection consists of written test.

Examination Pattern: There shall be two papers in the exam for Drug Inspector.
The papers shall comprise of objective type multiple choice based questions on the following major topics:

Paper I: Pharmacy Total Marks Allotted: 200 Duration of Exam: 2 Hours
Paper II: General Knowledge Total Allotted Marks: 50 Duration of Exam: 1 Hour


GROUP A (Total marks: 100)

• General Studies with special reference to Madhya Pradesh (50 questions): 50 marks
• Logical ability (25 questions): 25 marks
• Pyschological test (25 questions):25 marks

GROUP B (Total Marks)

• Syllabus of pharmacy graduate level exam (100 questions): 100 marks.
