M Tech In IIIT Bhubaneswar

Hello sir I have completed my B.Tech and want to join M.Tech at the IIIT Bhubaneswar. Can you please tell me the process to apply for M.Tech in this University? Also tell me about any entrance exam conducted by this University for taking admission in M.Tech program at IIIT Bhubaneswar?

Can you tell me about the eligibility requirement for admission in M. Tech programmes offered by IIIT (International Institute of Information Technology) Bhubaneswar?

Admission to M. Tech programmes offered by IIIT (International Institute of Information Technology) Bhubaneswar will be through the written entrance exam to be conducted by the institute. G Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) qualified candidates, however, arent required to sit in the entrance exam, as they are eligible for direct admission.

Eligibility Requirement

Computer Science & Engineering
One must meet any of the following conditions:
One must have a B. Tech/B.E. in CSE/IT
One must have hold an M.C.A degree
One must have passed M.Sc.(Computer Science)
One must have any other equivalent degree

Electronics and Communication Engineering

One must any of following condition:
One must have completed B. Tech/B.E in Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electrical, or Electrical and Electronics
One must have passed M.Sc. (Electronics)
One must have any other equivalent degree

Electrical Engineering

Any of following condition must be met:
One must hold a B. Tech/B.E from any recognized universities in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Communication
One must have passed M.Sc. (Electrical)
One must have any other equivalent degree

Selection Procedure
The shortlisting of regular candidates for admission into M. Tech programs will be based on GATE score only
Selection of regular candidates is based on 70% weightage for the GATE score and 30% weightage for the performance in the written test and interview
The final selection of regular candidates will be solely based on the combined scores of the candidates with 70% weightage to the GATE score and 30% weightage to the written test & interview marks
The written test and interview shall be given equal weightage of 15% each

Reservation
Reservations SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD category shall apply as per Govt. of India rules
The certificate for the same must be submitted in the format specified. OBC candidates may note that the limit of annual income is Rs.6 lakhs for determining the creamy layer among OBCs candidates
