Hi I want to know the eligibility criteria and admission procedure of M.Tech genetic engineering in SRM University?

The SRM University is a co-educational private university in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1985.

M.Tech genetic engineering Eligibility-

B.E / B.Tech in Genetic Engineering / Biotechnology / Industrial or Medical or General or Food Biotechnology / Biochemical Engineering / Bioinformatics / Bioprocess Engineering (or) B.Pharm (or) B.V.Sc. (or) B.F.Sc. (or) B.Sc. (Agri) / B.Sc. (Forestry) (or) MBBS (or) M.Sc in any branch of Life Sciences.

Fee Structure-

M.Tech Genetic Engineering - 1,50,000

Admission procedure-

Admission to this program will be based on SRM Graduate Engineering Entrance Test (SRMGEET) conducted by SRM University.

However candidate with valid GATE score can also apply and will be considered for admission.

Merit list will be prepared and candidates will be called for counseling.

The eligible candidates, chosen on the basis of rank, would be called for counseling for final admission. The physical presence of the candidate during the counseling is mandatory.

Counselling call letter
SRMJEEE - 2015 Rank Card / Hall Ticket.
High school (Class X) marks sheet.
Marks sheet / consolidated mark statement of the qualifying examination.
Original degree / provisional certificate.
Eligibility certificate issued by SRM University
Community certificate (issued by the competent authority).
Work experience certificate wherever relevant.
Demand Draft for the amount specified in the Counseling Call letter. DD should be drawn in favour of “SRMIST” payable at CHENNAI.
