TANCET is the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test for M.Tech, which is conduct by Anna University.

TANCET Eligibility Criteria:
For M. Tech/M.E - Candidate must have B. Tech/B.E in the respective discipline with minimum 50% of marks.

For SC/ST candidates minimum 45% marks are enough.

TANCET Exam Pattern:
The question paper has three parts:

Part 1 (compulsory): 30 questions with 1 mark for each correct answer

Part 2(Compulsory): 30 questions with 1 mark for each correct answer

Part 3: Candidates must choose a choice of a section out of 14 based on area of specialization and answer 40 Questions with 1 mark for each correct answer

Each wrong answer take 1/4 negative mark.
