M Phil Distance Education in Tamil Nadu Open University

I am planning to do M Phil Distance Education course from the Tamil Nadu Open University so please tell me the eligibility criteria required to get admission in it?

Tamil Nadu Open University is the 10th Open University in the country

It was established in 2002 by the government of Tamil Nadu, India.

It offers M.Phil in following disciplines
Humanities,
Politics and Public Administration,
Tamil and Cultural Studies,
Special Sciences,
Special Education and Rehabilitation,
Management Studies,
History and Tourism Studies,
Computer Science,
Education

Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed Master Degree with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent grade point from recognized university

Candidates who have qualified UGC / CSIR (JRF) Examination NET / SET / GATE / Teacher fellowship will be allowed in appearing entrance test.

Selection Criteria:
Selection of the candidates will be based on Entrance Test and Interview conducted by the university.

40% weightage consists of written test, 10% for Interview while remaining 50% to Master Degree.

Rank list will be prepared after adding written test and interview marks in marks obtained in PG.
