For getting admission in M.Phil Application form(for entrance test) filling and submission dates are went on.

E-Admit Card can be downloaded from the website by the candidate using their own Login and Password
Date of Entrance Test 28th July, 2013 Sunday
Tentative date of declaration of result 12th August, 2013 Friday

Result: Result cards can be downloaded from the website.

Eligibility Criteria:
1.candidate who has passed the Master’s examination in the concerned subject with a score of not less than 55%
(50% for SC/ST/BC category) marks in aggregate
or
candidate appeared in the final year examination of Master’s degree shall also be eligible to appear for the Ph.D Entrance Test

Admission Procedure:

1.The candidates shall be admitted to Ph.D Programme either directly or through M.Phil Programme he/she should have to qualify Ph.D entrance test conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh

2.The written test shall be followed by a mandatory interview and at the time of interview, the candidates are expected to discuss their research area

Eligibility:

The Test shall consist of 2 papers in each subject as detailed below:-

Paper-I (Objective Type / Multiple Choice Questions)

Duration: One Hour
Maximum Marks:50
Number of questions:50
Questions to be attempted: 50
Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking.

Paper- II (Subjective / Descriptive Type)

Duration: Two Hours
Maximum Marks: 50
Number of questions:10
Questions to be attempted: 05
Each question will carry ten marks
