Hello, here I am providing you the details of the admission in the PhD course offered at the University Of Lucknow as under:

About the university:
University Of Lucknow or Lucknow University is a government owned Indian research university based in Lucknow. LU's old campus is located at Badshah Nagar, University Road area of the city with a new campus at Jankipuram

Eligibility:
A candidate wishing to pursue research for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, should ordinarily hold a Post-Graduate Degree with minimum of 55% of marks at the Master’s degree level

Admission procedure:
(i) Those coming through Qualifying Entrance Test for Ph.D. programme (QET) and
(ii) Those that are exempted from the QET. The final selection of both the categories of candidates in the Ph.D. programme would be based on the performance of candidates in the interview board

Interview:
The interview process shall consist of assessing the candidates on the basis of the following three criteria (stages):
(i) A research proposal (in 400-600 words) in the area of research interest of the applicants to be submitted by the applicant to the interview board.
(ii) A power point presentation of the said research proposal by the applicant in the interview board
(iii) A personal interview

Thesis selection certificate:
The thesis shall be accompanied by three separate certificates as given below and should be duly signed:
1. Self declaration certificate from the candidate (Annexure – A).
2. Certificate from the Supervisor/Joint-Supervisors (Annexure – B).
3. Certificate for the successful completion of course work by the Head of the Department/ Director of the Institute (Annexure – C)
