Hello sir I want to take admission in Lucknow University for Ph.D programme so will you please provide me the Pattern of its Entrance Exam??

Lucknow University is a government owned Indian research university based
in Lucknow.

It was founded in 1867

Ph.D Programme

Eligibility:

Those willing to apply for this programme must hold a post-graduate degree
with minimum of 55% marks at the Master's degree level for being eligible
for admission to the Ph.D programme.

However, for SC/ST and Physically Challenged/ Disabled candidates, the
eligibility criterion is – 50% marks at master's degree level in the subject
concerned.



Selection procedure:

The selection of candidates for the Ph.D program would be done on two basis
– streams of applicants coming through Qualifying Entrance Test for Ph.D
program (QET), and, second, those who are exempted from the QET



Pattern:

The QET shall be of 100 minutes duration. There would be a single question
paper of 100 marks having 100 multiple choice questions for assessing the
subject proficiency and research aptitude of the candidate. There would be
negative marking in which for each wrong answer, 0.25 Marks would be
deducted.
