Can you tell me about the ranking of E. J. Ourso College of Business of LSU or Louisiana State University as I want to know it before taking admission in its MBA course?

The E. J. Ourso College of Business has two professional programs ranked by U.S. News & World Report: in 2015, the Public Administration Institute ranked 73rd nationally according to the magazine, and the Flores MBA program was ranked 65th nationally.

• Its students have won the International Student High Achievement Award, an honor given to students who score the highest possible score on the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exam, 17 times during the last 21 years.

• In 2007, the Flores MBA Program was ranked seventh in the nation "for attracting corporate MBA recruiters who recruit regionally" by the Wall Street Journal.

LSU MBA


The E. J. Ourso College of Business is Louisiana State University's business school. It was established originally in 1928 as the College of Commerce.

It is located in the Louisiana State University Business Education Complex.

In the LSU Flores MBA Program students can specialize in entrepreneurship, finance, human resource management, internal auditing, international business/emerging markets, marketing, supply chain management, systems audit, or create a modified curriculum.

For non-traditional students, it offers the flexible options of an Executive MBA or a Professional MBA.

One can earn a joint JD/MBA through the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU.

Full-Time MBA Process and Requirements


GPA
3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

GMAT or GRE
Required, at least a score of 600 preferred

Work Experience
Not required; two years preferred

Letters of Reference
Two letters of recommendation: Preferably from past/current employers or professors.

Essay
Provide a personal statement that includes how an MBA will position you for future career development and personal growth, any unique attributes and/or life experiences that may distinguish you from other candidates, and how your participation in the program will help enhance the learning environment.

Residency
Full-time residency required
