Law School Admission Test LSAT is a law entrance exam, designed by USA based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for admissions to law schools in India. It is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills. LSAT exam pattern- Section Questions (Approx.) Time Analytical Reasoning 24 35 minutes 1st Logical Reasoning 24 35 minutes 2nd Logical Reasoning 24 35 minutes Reading Comprehension 24 35 minutes Total 92-100 2 hours 20 minutes Therefore a total of four questions which have approximately 92-100 questions are to be completed within 2 hours and 20 minutes. LSAT Syllabus- The LSAT Syllabus 2016 comprises the following topics: Reading Comprehension: This section contains four passages of about 400 to 600 words with 5 to 8 questions per passage for a total about 26 to 28 question. The passages are from the field of science, philosophy, economy, history, law etc. Analytical Reasoning: In these section four sets of conditions, statements, or rules are given. Each set is followed by 4 to 7 questions for a total of 22 to 24 questions. Logical Reasoning: These section consist of two sections includes short passages, statements, arguments, or discussion, followed by 1 or 2 questions. |
