Lovely Professional University Eligibility for B.Tech

Can you tell me about the eligibility requirement for admission in B Tech course offered by LPU or Lovely Professional University? Is there any entrance exam for admission in B Tech course offered by LPU?

Lovely Professional University is conducting National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST-2016) for B.Tech aspirants. One studying in 12th class can apply for LPUNEST-2016. LPUNEST-2016 will be conducted from 15th April 2016 to 30th April 2016. The Test will be conducted in online mode (Pen and Paper Mode test is not allowed)

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English) subject to valid score in LPUNEST-2016

For B.Tech (Biotechnology, Food Process Engg & B.Tech Biotechnology (Hons): Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths/Biology/Biotech; other things remaining same as above.

Admission Criteria
Merit in qualifying examination, subject to eligibility criteria.

Last Date of Receipt of Filled-in-Application Form: 29th February 2016

Slot Booking for Online Exam: 01st March 2016 (onwards)

Dates of Entrance Exam: 15th April 2016 to 30th April 2016

Online Counselling and Seat Allocation: 05th May 2016 onwards

Last Date of Admission on the basis of LPUNEST: 31st May 2016

LPUNEST 2016 Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam - Online mode (Computer based test)

Each MCQ will consist a stem which may be in the form of a question or an incomplete statement and four responses labelled A, B, C and D; one of the four responses only is the correct or most appropriate answer

Test Duration - 120 minutes (2 hours)

Making Scheme: +4 marks for correct answer; 0 (zero) marks for no answer; no negatie marking for incorrect answer
