Dr.Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU), Faizabad was established in 1975 as Avadh University. In 1994, it was renamed as Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad in the memoriam of late Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia.
