It has 10 affiliated colleges spread over the states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and U.T. of Chandigarh, with Regional Centres at Muktsar, Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur cities in Punjab state

Eligibility
A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible to join the first semester class of the LL.M. Course :-

(a) LL.B. degree exam of the University;

Or

(b) Any equivalent exam of another University recognized by the Syndicate for the purpose.

Admission to LL.M. Semester - It is on the basis of an Entrance Test.

Total marks for determining merit would be 200 :-80% of 200 (100 marks for the entrance test) 20% of 200 (100 marks for the qualifying exam.)
