I have completed my B.A. LL.B. 5 Years Course and want to take admission in the Master of Law (L.L.M) from the Calcutta University? Can you please tell me how I can apply for admission in the Calcutta University for Master of Law (L.L.M) course?

The University of Calcutta, Faculty of Law will conduct Written Test for admission into the various 1st year of 2 year LLM Courses for the academic year 2018-2020 for the under mentioned institutions.

Eligibility Criteria-

Applicants who have passed their B.A.LL.B (Hons.) / B.A.LL.B / LL.B (Hons.)/ LL.B. examination from this university or from other university recognized by the University of Calcutta.

Last date for submission of application form 19 Jan 2018
Date of Written Test 21 Jan 2018
Publication of Merit List 27 Apr 2018
Date of Counselling 07 May 2018

Application Fee-

Application Fee is Rs. 400/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

Exam Pattern

The written test will be of 100 marks, 60 marks for MCQ, and 40 marks for the subjective test from B.A.LL.B. Syllabus of C.U.

Selection Process-

Admission in LLM Course at the University of Calcutta shall be done on the basis of marks obtained in Entrance Test and Counseling.

After counseling process candidates will be selected for admission in the University.
