I am interested in the field of law and for this I am planning to take admission in Maharshi Dayanand University for doing LLB degree. Will you please tell me what the Eligibility for MDU Law Entrance Test aso provide me this entrance exam syllabus?

MDU Law Entrance Test is a paper-pen based entrance test conducted by the Department of Law, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak for admission to three-year LLB (Honors) and five-year LLB (Honors) courses offered by the university.

Eligibility for MDU Law Entrance Test:-

For LLB (Hons) 3-year:
Bachelor/Master’s degree with atleast 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate, or, any other examination recognized by M.D. University, Rohtak as equivalent thereto.

For LLB (Hons) 5-year:
Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with atleast 45% marks from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or any other examination recognized by M.D. University Rohtak as equivalent thereto.

MDU LLB Entrance Test Syllabus:

For LLB (Hons) 3-year:

a) General English - 25 questions
b) General Hindi - 25 questions
c) General Knowledge - 50 questions

The General Knowledge area will cover the following fields of knowledge:

1) Current Events of National and International Importance
2) General Science
3) History of India
4) Geography
5) Indian Polity & Economy

Standard of questions will be as may be expected of a graduate who has not made any special study in any of the areas given above.

For LLB (Hons) 5-year:

a) Legal Aptitude - 20 questions
b) Reasoning - 20 questions
c) General English- 20 questions
d) General Hindi- 20 questions
e) General Knowledge- 20 questions

The General Knowledge area will cover the following fields of knowledge:-

1) Current Events of National and Inter-national Importance
2) General Science
3) History of India
4) Geography
5) Indian Polity & Economy
