Re: LLB Course Age Eligbility Conditions

Eligibility required for the three year LLB course depends on marks secured at the graduation examinations.

The Bar Council of India , which governs standards of legal education in India, introduced a 30 years upper age limit for three-year LLB course.

Applicants must be a graduate like B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. degree with minimum 40% marks (35% for SC / ST).

However, few Universities that holds entrance tests too

The Entrance Exam is written test where questions are asked on Reasoning, Mathematics, English and General Knowledge.

Re: LLB Course Age Eligbility Conditions

Generally, eligibility for LLB (Bachelor Of Legislative Law) is that Candidate should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks for General/OBC/PWD categories, and minimum 40% marks for SC/ST categories

Aspirants appearing for Class 12th (or equivalent) exam in March/April may apply provisionally

Age: Maximum age is 20 years (22 for SC/ST candidates)

Percentage and other criteria may vary depending upon the institute.

Those who have done post graduation get an extra 2% weight age. However, there are some Universities that conduct entrance tests too.

The Entrance Exam is written test where questions are based on Reasoning, Mathematics, English and General Knowledge. Certain institutions like National Law School in Bangalore conduct an All India Entrance exam.

To get admission for this course, the students have to give an entrance test and a personal interview.
