LLB Admission in Kalyani University

My brother have completed the BCom degree course , he want to get admission in LLB course in Kalyani University . will you please tell what is the admission eligibility criteria for LLB course admission at Kalyani University.

BA LLB Hons is a full-time five years 10 semester duration course offered by Snehangshu Kanta Acharya Institute of Law affiliated to University of Kalyani, Kalyani Approved by Bar Council of India.

The programme is spread over five academic years, each academic year divided into two academic terms called semesters, each semester having an average of 100 academic days. The programme is thus spread over ten semesters.

On successful completion of all ten semesters the students will be conferred the degree of B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) by the University of Kalyani. The degree is recognized by the Bar Council of India as the professional degree for enrolment as an advocate in the rolls of advocates in the Bar Councils. The degree is also recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Education.

Eligibility Criteria: -

Candidates passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or Equivalent exam with at least 40% marks [35% for SC/ST] in aggregate.
Candidates appeared H.S. Exam this year may also take provisional admission.
Candidates should be below 20 years of age as on 1st day of July [2 years relaxation for SC/ST category].
