Lucknow University offers admission (Lucknow University Admission) into various undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the field science, commerce, arts, law, etc.

The admission to UG courses is done on entrance exam basis & admission to PG courses is done on the basis of merit list/entrance test. LU is a government owned Indian Research University.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass Intermediate or equivalent exam & obtain at least 40% marks (33% for reserved category).

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of UG Entrance Test is mentioned here:

No. of Questions:
The question paper consist of 100 multiple choice questions.
For BA, total 50 questions asked in the examination.

Duration:
The duration of the exam was 1 hour 30 minutes.
For BA exam, 60 minutes was given.

Marking Scheme:
For the correct answer, 4 marks are awarded to the candidates.

Negative Marking:
One mark is deducted for incorrect response.


Lucknow University Syllabus

The Syllabus of UG course entrance exam was comprises of the intermediate level.
In the examination, the questions are asked from the subjects that are studied in the 12th standard in different boards such as CBSE, ISC & UP Board.
