LIU Post is a private institution of higher education and is the largest campus of the private Long Island University system. LIU Post offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the following colleges and schools - College of Communications, Art, and Design; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; College of Management; College of Education, Information and Technology and School of Health Professions and Nursing.

Rankings
The LIU Post undergraduate program was ranked in the fourth tier (schools ranked 196 through 258) of the "Best National Universities" category of U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges", 2008 edition.
