Occupational Therapy Programs - Long Island University complies with all the procedures guidelines and standards determined by the professional accrediting body Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).

Occupational Therapy Programs
The Department of Occupational Therapy offers two full time entry-level programs for a B.S./M.S. Degree in Occupational Therapy:

The Weekday Program: Classes are held Monday–Friday.

The Evening and Weekend Jewish Women Cohort Program: Classes are held Monday–Thursday in the afternoon/evening and on Sunday.

Program Requirements

Continued enrollment in the program is dependent upon:

Maintaining a cumulative GPA at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 per semester throughout the professional phase of the program

Stick on to the AOTA Code of Ethics and the professional behavior standards in all interactions with faculty members, peers, clinical instructors and clients
