Bachelor of Computer Applications Programme is Divided into Six Semesters with two semesters in an academic year.

Each Semester has a working duration of about 21 weeks


The Minimum Period Required for Completion of Programme is 3 years (6 semesters)

Eligibility :

Candidates must have passed 50% aggregate in 12th with English (core or elective or functional) and Mathematics or Computer Science/ informatics practice/Computer applications

OR

Three Year Diploma in a branch of engineering from polytechnic approved by All India Council for technical education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Selection Criteria

Candidates applying for Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) will have to take a common Entrance test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in the months of April & May, based on merit in this examination, students are admitted to the programme through Common Counseling Session..
