Details regarding the L.I.C. Development Officers Exam is given below : Educational, Qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Commerce, Arts, Agriculture or Law of an Indian or Foreign University or an equivalent qualification. Age Limits: The applicants msut be 21 years on the 1st July of the year of examination. Exam Pattern: Subject No of Questions Test of English Language 50 Test of Reasoning 50 Test of Numerical Aptitude 50 Test of General Awareness 50 Total 200 Time Allowed -- 2 Hr. Syllabus : 1. Test of Reasoning: This test would include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, etc. Questions designed to test the candidate's abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions. 2. Test of English Language: English language ability would be tested through questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of a passage, etc. 3. Test of Numerical Ability: Questions include arithmetical computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationship between numbers. 4. Test of General Knowledge and General Awareness Questions in Clerical Aptitude pursues aptitude, ability to handle office routine work like filing, abbreviating, indexing, etc. |
