Re: LBJ School History

LBJ School is Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. LBJ School was founded in 1965. UT Board of Regents proposed to President Lyndon Johnson and Mrs. Johnson that the University builds two different but complementary facilities.

Five years later-in September 1970-the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs began classes, although its building-and the adjacent LBJ Library building-would not be completed until the following spring.
