Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Allahabad) offers over 26 degree programmes to its aspirants at the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) and doctoral levels in the streams including Engineering, Business & Management Studies, Law, IT & Software and Science.

As per my knowledge, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Allahabad) does not offer admission through Lateral Entry in B Tech 2nd year course.


IIIT Allahabad B Tech Admission

One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/ PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in respective Class XII board exam.

Selection to B Tech programme is done on the basis of JEE Main score for Indian candidates and DASA for international candidates followed by CSAB which is the counselling process.

Admission to the B Tech-M Tech Dual degree programme is done through CSAB only. CSAB invites application from Self-Financed Technical Institutions (SFTIs) through letter or e-mail to participate in the counselling.


IIIT Allahabad Application Process

The application process for admissions at IIIT Allahabad commences with the online registrations for JEE Mains and ends with the exam results announced along with the merit list.

The candidates are eligible for the process of document verification and seat allotment conducted by JoSAA or CSAB.

On successful completion of the registration process, one is asked to make the payment of the prescribed application fee.
