Re: Which Language to Choose in Civil Services, if I am good in Hindi & English

The civil service exam is highly competitive in natural history.

If you are equally good in both the mediums like Hindi & English, you can choose it according to your interest.

But still choosing English will be better.

Generally majority of the candidates choose English as a medium.

The English exam pattern of questions would be broadly as follows:

i. Comprehension of given passages.
ii. Precis Writing
iii. Usage and Vocabulary
iv. Short Essay
i. Comprehension of given passages.
ii. Precis Writing
iii. Usage and Vocabulary.
iv. Short Essay
v. Translation from English to the Indian language and vice-versa
