Can you tell me about the ranking of Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) in Lancaster, England as I am planning to apply for MBA course in it but want to be sure about it before taking admission in it?

Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) in Lancaster, England is one of the world-ranked business school which was established in 1964.

It offers a full range of subjects are taught, ranging from undergraduate degrees to postgraduate degrees including MBAs, PhDs and post-experience executive education.

The Financial Times ranks Lancaster University's MBA programme the 50th in the world (in 2015).

The Economist ranked it at 54th Globally in 2013,

Forbes ranked it at 9th in the world and 5th in the UK in 2015,

Financial Times ranked it at 35th Globally 2014,

The Times Good University Guide ranked it at 11th in UK and 1st in the North West 2015,

The Independent ranked it at 9th in UK and 2nd for Marketing in 2016

The Guardian ranked it at 10th in UK in 2016.

In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014), it was ranked top business school in the UK for 'research power', and 80% of its research activity is judged to be world-leading or internationally excellent.

It was ranked 10th nationally, 6th for Accounting & Finance, 16th for Business and Management Studies and 19th for Economics by the Guardian University Guide 2016

AACSB is the leading American business school accreditation body, which has accredited all of the USA's top business schools. It received initial accreditation in 2008 and we were recently reaccredited for a further five years.

EQUIS is the leading European business school accreditation kitemark, managed by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). It was first accredited in 2003 and was re-accreditated for a further five years in 2013.

It has been accredited by AMBA since 1996. The Association of MBAs, although UK-based in its origins, is the only accreditation body to focus on MBA programmes around the world.

Its Full-time MBA and Executive MBA programmes, and the MSc in Management, are all accredited by the Association of MBAs.
