As you want I am here telling you about eligibility criteria for KVS PGT exam.

Eligibility Criteria for KVS PGT:

Candidate should have master degree with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for PGT exam.

Candidate should have B.Ed degree from a recognized University.

Degree requirement as follows:
PGT (English) – Master’s degree in English

PGT (Hindi) – Master’s degree in Hindi/Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects.


PGT (Commerce) – Master’s degree in Commerce

PGT (Mathematics) — Master’s degree in Science with Mathematics and Applied Mathematics as subjects.

PGT (Biology) – Master’s degree in Science in any of the following subjects with botany and Zoology as subjects of study
Bio Sciences
BioTechnology
Botany
Genetics
Life Sciences
Micro-Biology
Molecular Biology
Plant Physiology
Zoology

PGT (History) – Master’s degree in History

PGT (Geography) – Master’s degree in Geography


PGT (Biotechnology) – Master’s degree in Science as in :

Bio Science
Bio-Chemistry
Bio-Technology
Genetics
Life Science
Microbiology


PGT (Physics) – Master’s degree in Science in any of the following streams
Applied Physics
Electronics
Nuclear Physics
Physics


PGT (Chemistry) – Master’s degree in Science with Chemistry of Biochemistry as subjects.

PGT (Economics) – Master’s degree in any of the following streams

Applied Economics
Business Economics
Economics

PGT (Computer Science):
Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science/ IT
Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology (any stream) + PG Diploma in Computers
Master of Science (Computer Science)
Master of Computer Application
Bachelor of Science (Computer Science)/Bachelor of Computer Application + PG Diploma in Computers
PG Diploma (in any subject) + PG Diploma in Computers
PG Diploma (in any subject) + ‘B’ Level from DOEACC
