There is no prescribed syllabus for the written exam of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana SA Stream .

The written exam aims to examine the understanding and analytical ability of the student than his/her factual knowledge.

Candidates are tested for the syllabus up to class X/XII/1styr B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. as applicable.

Exam Pattern:
The question paper comprises of two parts Part A comprises multiple choice questions Part B comprises descriptive type questions for 100 marks.
It comprises of 40 questions of 1 mark each and 12 questions of 5 marks each.
There will be four sections allotted for Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Biology.

In Part - A each correct answer gets 1 mark and for each incorrect answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.

In Part - B each correct answer gets 5 marks. There will be no negative marking for Part B.

Stream SA Syllabus.:
Stream SA, the KVPY exam covers all the corresponding science syllabus of Class XI.


Composition of the question paper:




Eligibility for stream SA exam:

Students enrolled in the XI Standard (Science Subjects) .

Students have secured at least of 80% (70% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board Examination.
