Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences, engineering and medicine.


Stream of the KVPY Test

SA/SX/SB –
during 1st to 3rd years of - B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math. / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S.

SA/SX/SB -
during M. Sc. / 4th to 5th years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S

Examination Pattern :

he candidates can appear in the aptitude test in either for format – computer-based and paper-pen mode. A total of 80 questions are asked for SA stream and 120 questions for SB/SX stream to answer in the OMR-sheet.
