KV JNU NMR Library

My sister studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) JNU Campus New Mehrauli Road (NMR) . She want to issue some books form Library of the KV JNU NMR . will you tell me what is the rules and regulation to issue a book from there ?

The KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya, NMR), JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) Campus library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in todays information and knowledge-based society.

The school library equips students with life-long learning skills and develops the imagination, enabling them to live as responsible citizens.

Library Rules


1. Silence shall be strictly observed in the library.

2. All books or any printed materials and any such articles shall be left at the entrance of the library.

3. One reference book /fiction will be issued for a period of 14 days after expiry of this period a fine of Rs. 1(one rupee) will be collected.

4. Before leaving the library hall each one need to keep the book in the cupboard.

5. No one shall write upon, damage or make any mark upon any book /magazine or map belonging to the library.

6. One found responsible for causing any damage to the book or other property damaged have to pay 3 times of actual cost.

7. One found continuously breaking the rules will be barred from using the library facility.

8. One should avoid misplacement of book from one cupboard to other.
