Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is conducted in order to justify the quality of candidates for the post of teacher in Upper Primary, Lower Primary and High school classes across Kerala state.

There will be separate test conducted for following categories:

Category I: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a teacher for lower primary classes.
Category II: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a teacher for upper primary classes.
Category III: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a teacher for high school classes.
Category IV: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a language teacher of Hindi, Arabic, Sanskrit, Urdu for upper primary class, Physical Education teachers and specialist teachers up to High school level.

1. KTET notification to be released August 2018
2. KTET 2017 admit card can be downloaded from October 2018
3. Examination date for Category 1 and II November 2018
