K S Hegde Medical Academy (Kshema) is a medical college in Deralakatte, near the city of Mangalore. It was established in 1999 by the Nitte education trust (NET). The colleges offer the MBBS course along with post-graduation courses. The K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, is a full fledged 750 bed hospital attached to the Institute. The hospital has state-of-the-art facilities in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Radiology and Anesthesiology.
