Can you tell me about the Pay Revision New Salary Scale 2016 for the post of Overseer and other posts too in Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB)?

Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) Pay Revision order was passed on 17 Feb 2016 and it has effect from 1 August 2013 to 31 July 2018. The arrears of salary from 1-8-2013 to 31-12-2015 will be merged with Provident fund of employees.

Salary scales revision of Kerala Vydyuthi Board has been sanctioned by passing the order on
17-2-16.

Its pay scale revision is done for the fist time after KSEB was made a Govt owned company and brought under a Board of Directors and Chairman.

From now on-wards the minimum salary of KSEB Vydyuthi Board staff will be Rs.17000 from earlier minimum basic salary of Rs.8200.

Highest salary of staff is Rs.59305 from old scale of Rs.27580.

The salary as per revised scales of KSEB Staff will be given out from April 2016.

The Fitment Benefits of KSEB staff has been fixed to 12 % and Leave Travel Concession Allowance has been allowed and there is also Uniform Allowance hike to Rs. 3000.

Can you tell me about the revised pay scale and allowances of workmen with effect from 1.8.2003 – Approval of Memorandum of Settlement for Overseer Post in KSEB (Kerala State Electricity Board)?

The KSEB (Kerala State Electricity Board) had entered into a Long Term Settlement with the two recognized Trade Unions on 11.08.2000 revising the then existed wages and allowances and service conditions of all categories of Workmen with effect from 1.8.98.This settlement was executed for a period of five years and has expired on 31.7.2003.

Settlement made and entered into this the 28th day of February, Two Thousand and Seven between the Kerala State Electricity Board, Thiruvananthapuram (herein after referred to as the Board) as party of the first part and Kerala State Electricity Board Workers Association and Kerala Electricity Workers Federation (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Unions’) as parties of the second part.
