Hi I would like to have the broad view of the Krishna University and the departments which are present at the University?

In compatibility of the proposals of Knowledge Commission, Krishna University was built up, vide Andhra Pradesh Act.No.4 of 1991, G.O' Ms. No.89 Higher Education (U.E.II) dated 25/06/2008 and G.O Ms. No.109, Higher Education (U.E.II) division dated 14/07/2008 at Machilipatnam, as the town is the head-quarters of Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. On 23/04/08, The then Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr.Y Rajasekhara Reddy established the framework stone for the University. A Feasibility council headed by Prof. K. Viyyanna Rao went to Machilipatnam for building up the University.

The University is focused on:

1. Give more comprehensive access to reasonable quality advanced education.

2. Advance quality exploration in differing ranges of advancement and change proper to the neighborhood connection.

3. Take part in use of learning for group advancement.

4. Reinforce interface between Affiliated Colleges and College for normal great.

5. Give a responsive, responsible, straightforward, participative, and results based administration framework.

6. Create system with industry and other scholastic and research organizations to meet the desires of different partners.

7. Use ICT broadly for advancement of instructing learning process and for viable administration.
