Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University Silchar offers Master Of Business Management (MBA) program of duration 2 years.

MBA program-

The MBA Programme of KKHSOU is a two year Degree Programme with 4 Semesters and 2400 marks.

Each semester comprises 6 courses.

The core courses in the MBA programme are designed to introduce learners to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc.

Eligibility-

Graduation (except in Fine Arts) with minimum 40% marks in aggregate

Candidates are required to clear the entrance exam conducted by the University.

Those who have passed BBA from this University or from any other institutes recognized by KKHSOU, those who have MAT score of 500 and above and those who have at least three years of experience in managerial or supervisory positions are exempted from entrance test on application.

Questions in the Common Entrance Test shall be of objective type consisting of General aptitude, Logical reasoning, data interpretation, General Awareness.

Lateral Entry for MBA

Candidates having PG Diploma in Business Management with 32 credits from any university having 75% common courses are eligible to get lateral entry in the 3rd Semester of the MBA Programme.
