Knowledge Of JEE

I have completed my 12th and want to do engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) want knowledge of JEE exam. Will you please provide me all the details of JEE exam also suggest me books for doing this JEE exam preparation?

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) conducts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) every year for admissions to all the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), IITs, National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and IIITs.

Eligibility:

You should have passed his 10+2 examination from the recognized university including subjects’ chemistry, physics and mathematics. Candidates who will appear for 10+2 in 2015 can also give the exam.

Exam Pattern:

1. The exam will be of 3 hours.

2. Exam will be in both languages Hindi and English.

3. Exam will contain three sections Mathematics (Section I), Aptitude (Section II), and Drawing (Section II).

Mathematics: This section contains 30 questions and one question is of 4 marks.

Aptitude: This section will be of 200 marks. There will be 50 questions each from General Awareness, Analytical skills and Reasoning Ability. 4 marks will be given for the correct answer.

Drawing: 2 questions of 35 marks each need to be solved by you.

Number of Attempts: You can appear for JEE Exam only for maximum of three

Selection Procedure:

All India Rank for selection will be calculated by considering 60% weight age of JEE MAIN 2015 score and with 40% weight age of normalized marks of 10+2 examination.
