KLE University follows Zero Tolerance policy against any kind of ragging. Act of Ragging is punishable under law (Fine upto Rs.25,000/- and imprisonment upto 1 year under section 138 of KLE Act, 1983) followed by Rustication from the University. Teaching areas of the Colleges, including library are declared as Mobile Free Zone. Violation attracts punishment. KLE University campus has been declared as Plastic Free Zone to counteract 'Global Warming' w.e.f. 15 Aug. 2007 Some of the dates may be changed at a short notice for the benefits of the students.
