Freshman Engineering Department at KL University has been established with a aim to achieve focus for smooth migration of students having various backgrounds at plus 2 level to the professional studies by inculcating practice oriented training.

The concept is meant to cater to the needs of all new entrants offering them a well organized platform for the all round development.

It consists of the following departments

• Department of Chemistry

• Department of Physics

• Department of Mathematics

• Department of English

• Basic Engineering Sciences

The Department of chemistry is having very good faculty members whose areas of expertise and research include Inorganic, Physical, Environmental , organic, Analytical and Nanotechnology.

The department offers undergraduate & postgraduate courses apart from the M.Phil and Ph.D courses .
