Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University is a state university in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was established by the Assam Legislative Assembly by Act XXXVII of 2005 in 2005. The Act received the assent from the Governor on the same year.

About the Program :
The MMC programme is an integrated modular Degree programme. It comprises 16 courses, 4 courses per semester including a project work. All courses are compulsory except Course 13 of Semester 4 which has two options.

Duration : 2 year

Course Structure
Communication Theory, Media Studies, Reporting, Editing, Electronic Media, Advertising & Public Relations, etc. The learners will have to select any one out of the two optional courses in the fourth semester. 20% marks in a course
