KIIT School of Fashion Technology (KSFT) under KIIT Universiy came into the spotlight in 2009 to make experts in style outline and material configuration to provide food the necessities of Industry. The course offered by School is 4 years degree course prompting honor of B.Des, according to UGC rules.

Course Details: Bachelor of Design

FOUNDATION PROGRAM : 1ST YEAR : Art & Fashion, Basic Design, Sewing Techniques, Basic Textile Science, Communication skills, Computer Application and Basic Photography
COMMON PROGRAMS FOR BOTH: Traditional textiles and costumes, Fabric structure, Quality Analysis, Principle of Management, Merchandising and Export Marketing.

Specialised Course in Fashion Design
2nd year: Basic courses like pattern making, grading, garment construction, Fashion Illustration, Fabric development and quality analysis.
3rd year: Skill development and management courses like Design & Development of different garments and Management papers
4th year: Portfolio development and final project

Specialised Course in Textile Design
2nd year: Basic courses like Fabric structure, quality analysis, fabric development, fabric colouration and processing.
3rd year: Skill development and management courses like Design & Development of different txtile products and Management papers
4th year: Portfolio development and final project
