Munnar is arranged at the juncture of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1,600 m above ocean level, this slope station was at one time the late spring resort of the past British Government in South India.

Sprawling tea estates, picture-book towns, winding paths and occasion offices make this a well known resort town. Among the colorful verdure found in the woodlands and fields here is the Neelakurinji.

This blossom which showers the slopes in blue once in at regular intervals, will sprout next in 2018.

Munnar additionally has the most elevated top in South India, Anamudi, which towers more than 2,695 m. Anamudi is a perfect spot for trekking.

Eravikulam National Park

One of the principle attractions close Munnar is the Eravikulam National Park. This park is renowned for its jeopardized occupant - the Nilgiri Tahr.

Anamudi Peak

Top Station
