KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) will be conducted as a state level entrance exam for admission of Karnataka.

The examination will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) under the flag of Karnataka University.

List of courses and their eligibility:

Engineering & Technology – 12th passed with min. 45% marks in PCM (40% for reserved categories).
Medical/Dental/Other – 12th passed with min. 50% marks in PCB with English (40% for reserved categories).
Architecture – 12th passed with min. 50% marks with Mathematics (45% for reserved categories).
B.Sc (forestry & Agri.) & B.HSc – 12th passed with PCB.
B.Tech (Agri.) – 12th passed with PCM.
B.Pharma – Must have 45% marks in PCM or PCB or D.Pharma (40% for reserved categories).
B.Tech (Fisheries, dairy, food tech.) – 12th passed with PCMB.

Last day to submit filled forms – 25th February 2016
Last day of fee payment – 23rd February 2016

Date of KCET Admit Card 2015 – 15th April 2016
Exam date – 4th & 5th May 2016
Kannada Language test date – 6th May 2016
Practical Exam for Agriculture Quota – 20th May 2016
KCET Result 2016 Date – last week of May 2016
KCET counselling 2016 starts – Second half of June 2016
